we are open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm. we provide care and education from the ages of 3 months to 5 years.

Key person and your child

St Matthias uses a key person system which means that each member of staff has a group of children for whom she/he is particularly responsible. Your child’s key person will be the person who works with you to make sure that the childcare that we provide is right for your child’s particular needs and interests. When your child first starts at the setting, she will help your child to settle and throughout your child’s time at the setting, she will be the main person to help and support your child through their stages of development helping them to learn and develop by providing appropriate activities to meet your child's interest and needs.

Safeguarding children

St Matthias has a duty to make sure that all children are safe and that we help safeguard children against suspected or actual ‘significant harm’

this is why us as a setting, working in partnership with parents is so important to  ensure that we are aware of any problems that may emerge and can offer support, including referral to appropriate agencies when necessary, to help families in difficulty.

Policies and procedures

Our setting polices and procedures are found in the office or at the front where parents and carers can have a look through at any time, these will also been explained to you on the induction day of your child's visit.

Our policies help us to make sure that the service provided by our setting is a high quality one and all the member that attend the setting are having an en joyful and caring environment for all the children and parents.

policies are review yearly where the management and team work closely together to make sure we are delivering an excellent service to all the parents and children that attend the setting and get regular feedback from the parents to help review the policy.
